Don't belive in Staging? Neither do most other sellers and agents. That's why it works so well! What other property on the marekt is presented with strategic planning to focus the buyer on the finer aspects of the property while drawing the eye away from the less attractive features? It doesn't have to be expensive, it just has to be smart. I provide (free of charge to the seller) a staging appointment with a top notch stager who will work with you and your budget to find the best way to show your home in the best possible light. We meet, review your home, come up with a list of items for each room that will enhance the tour of the home. The seller can then pick and choose which items from that list to accomplish. If you're going to paint, why not let the stager pick the color? If you have furniture you're going to move out, let the stager see if there's a place to use it for pictures which will entice more buyers. Don't throw it away, let the stager see if it can be used first (then it's free to be removed). Often, after an open house, the sellers will want to review the notes from the staging appointment and focus on the areas that caused the most concern by potential buyers.
